— The Teacher Who Turns Scarcity into Opportunity
In a modest classroom in Jodhpur, one teacher's quiet resolve has grown into a life-changing mission for hundreds of underprivileged families. Mukesh Sharma, a senior Academic Coordinator and Chemistry faculty member at Delhi Public School (DPS), Jodhpur, set out years ago to prepare children who had neither the resources nor the means to afford coaching fees for India's most competitive engineering entrance exam, IIT-JEE. What began as a small, personal initiative has since grown into "Oil India Super 30" — a CSR program of Oil India Limited, and the only center of its kind in Rajasthan — where Sharma now serves as Head of Department and lead mentor.
A Track Record That Speaks for Itself
Over the past 11 years (2014–2025), 317 of the 333 students who passed through this program have secured admission to engineering colleges — 210 into IITs, 71 into NITs, and 36 into other prestigious institutions. In several batches, every single student — 30 out of 30 — succeeded. These are not the results of an elite urban coaching institute; they belong to children of daily-wage laborers, farmers, auto drivers, roadside vendors, and small shopkeepers. Behind the numbers are individual stories of extraordinary grit — students who prepared for the exam while working manual labor jobs, and others who pressed on with their studies even after losing a parent.

The credibility of this work is reflected in sustained media attention over the years, with coverage from ETV Bharat, Dainik Bhaskar, Rajasthan Patrika, Dainik Jagran, News24, Zee Rajasthan, and ABP News, among others. Having previously worked with major coaching institutions such as FIITJEE, Aakash, and Resonance, Sharma made a deliberate choice to channel that expertise toward serving society's most underserved students instead.
